Tropical Pro Defence is part of the range Probiotic, which includes foods with added probiotics intended for daily feeding fish.

Contains viable bacterial endospores Bacillus subtilis, which, when ingested, colonise the fish’s digestive tract, stabilising the intestinal microflora and creating a natural protective barrier against pathogens. Probiotic supports the immune system by stimulating the body to produce antibodies and increasing the activity of defence mechanisms, which results in better condition and greater resistance in fish.

Stability and effectiveness

Endospores of Bacillus subtilis used in the feed are characterised by exceptional resistance to high temperatures, drought, UV radiation and adverse pH levels. As a result, probiotic remains viable for a long time and is only activated in the fish’s digestive tract, where it is most effective.

We recommend feeding fish several times a day in small portions, adjusted to the size and number of fish.

The food can be used alone or in combination with other complementary foods to provide greater dietary variety.

When using high-protein foods such as Tropical Pro Defence, it is particularly important to monitor water parameters, especially the level of nitrates (NO₃).

Regular, moderate feeding and effective biological filtration are essential, but it’s also worth seeking additional support.
