All in One series fertiliser for low-maintenance aquariums

Vimi MICRO is a fully balanced micronutrient fertiliser that provides plants with essential trace elements without the addition of nitrogen and phosphorus. This approach allows you to flexibly adapt fertilisation to the conditions in the aquarium and avoid an excessive build-up of macronutrients.

The product contains, amongst other things, iron, manganese, boron, zinc, copper, molybdenum, cobalt and nickel, as well as a significant amount of potassium, eliminating the need for additional supplementation.

Stable and easily absorbed forms of iron, designed for maximum uptake by plants.

Part of the iron was administered in the form of iron gluconate, which, in its divalent form, is exceptionally easily absorbed by plants and biodegrades rapidly without accumulating in water. Furthermore, the use of EDTA chelates and DTPA ensure the stability of trace elements across a wide range of pH, including in hard water. This ensures that the nutrients remain available to the plants for a longer period of time and do not settle.

Supporting plant immunity and recovery

The formula has been enriched with ingredients that help plants withstand the stress caused by changes in aquarium conditions. Regular use of the product promotes faster recovery after repotting and pruning, and helps maintain bright, healthy leaf colour.

Vimi MICROis designed for fertilising plants in low-maintenance aquariums and in tanks without additional dosing of CO₂.

It works perfectly in aquariums with a higher fish stock or in water rich in nitrogen and phosphorus. The absence of these elements in the formulation allows for greater control over their levels and facilitates precise supplementation of micronutrients, without the risk of excesses typical of classic ‘all-in-one’ fertilisers.

How to administer the correct dose of Vimi Micro

For those who wish to take a thoughtful approach to fertilising their aquarium:

1 ml per 10 litres of waterprovides:

• Potassium (K): 1.5 ppm
• Magnesium (Mg): 0.3 ppm
• Iron (Fe): 0.15 ppm
• Manganese (Mn): 0.04 ppm
• Boron (B): 0.01 ppm
• Zinc (Zn): 0.004 ppm
• Copper (Cu): 0.002 ppm
• Molybdenum (Mo): 0.001 ppm
• Cobalt (Co): 0.0002 ppm
• Nickel (Ni): 0.0001 ppm

The best results for plants are achieved by applying the fertiliser daily in doses proportionate to the recommended weekly amount, rather than applying the entire weekly dose in a single go.

The dosage should always be adjusted to the plants’ growth rate and the specific requirements of the aquarium. We recommend carrying out regular aquarium tests, in particular iron (Fe) test, to monitor the plants’ fertiliser uptake on an ongoing basis.

Before use, it is advisable to shake the bottle well to ensure the active ingredients are evenly distributed.

Tip 2:

In newly set-up aquariums and when changing the fertilisation system, you should not start with the full recommended dose. Any change in the tank takes time to stabilise.

It is best to start with around a third of the target dose and gradually increase it, keeping a close eye on how the plants respond.
