Qualdrop P Grow One is a product that supplies phosphorus in a form that is easily absorbed by aquatic plants.

This element plays a fundamental role in metabolic processes, as it is a component of nucleic acids, nucleotides, coenzymes and phospholipids that make up cellular structures.

Through high-energy phosphate compounds such as ADP and ATP, phosphorus is responsible for the storage and transport of energy in the biochemical processes that take place in plants. It plays a crucial role in both both anabolism and catabolism, thereby ensuring that metabolic processes run smoothly.

Steady growth and healthy development

A constant supply of phosphorus is essential for maintaining healthy and balanced plant growth. A deficiency leads to a marked slowdown in growth, and due to the high mobility of this element within tissues, symptoms appear primarily on older leaves.

In the event of a deficiency, stunted growth and characteristic reddening of the plant tips may be observed. The correct dosage of the product helps to restore normal growth patterns and keep the plants in good condition.

Support for intensively managed reservoirs

The formula has been enriched with ingredients that enhance the absorption and effective utilisation of macro- and micronutrients present in the aquarium. As a result, this product works well in tanks with active substrate, intense lighting and a CO₂ system, where plant growth is rapid and the demand for phosphorus is high.

Qualdrop P Grow One is designed to replenish phosphorus in planted aquariums, particularly in intensively maintained tanks with an active substrate and a CO₂ dosing system.

The product is recommended in situations where plants have an increased need for phosphorus and where there are visible signs of deficiency, such as stunted growth or discolouration of older leaves.

Tip1:

To provide plants with a full spectrum of nutrients, P Grow should be used in combination with other fertilisers from the Makro and Micro.

Of the fertilisers containing macronutrients it works particularly well with products K Clarity One and N Green.
This combination guarantees that plants have access to all the key elements they need for healthy, vigorous growth.

How should P Grow be used correctly?

Standard dosage

1 ml of the preparation P Grow One per 100 litres of water increases the concentration of phosphates (PO₄)by approximately 0.1 mg/l.

The product has a negligible effect on potassium levels in the aquarium. When the concentration increases PO₄ by 0.1 mg/lthe level ofpotassiumincreases by approximately0.04 mg/l, which usually does not require any additional adjustment to fertilisation.

Dose adjustment

The dosage should be adjusted on a case-by-case basis, depending on the type of tank, the rate of plant growth, the intensity of lighting and the CO₂ level.

In intensively managed aquariums, the demand for phosphorus may be higher, so the dose can be increased accordingly. In tanks with a slower growth rate, it is advisable to be more cautious with dosing and to check the level regularly PO₄.

The optimal phosphate level in most planted aquariums is usually within the range of 0.5–1.5 mg/l, but it should be adjusted to suit the chosen fertilisation strategy.

In the event of an overdose

If too high a dose is administered, it is recommended that you immediately change some of the water in the aquarium to restore phosphate levels to a safe range.
