Product description
Quiet operation and robust construction
Aerators Aquael Oxyboost have been designed to minimize noise and vibration. The sealed housing dampens operating noise, while rubber feet absorb vibrations and prevent them from being transmitted to furniture or the aquarium glass. The round, smooth housing made of durable materials gives the device an aesthetic appearance and makes it easy to clean. The overheating protection extends the life of the aerator.
To further reduce noise, it is recommended to place the device on a stable, soft surface that does not amplify vibrations.
Principle of operation and role in the aquarium
The aerators from the Oxyboost series force atmospheric air through a hose and diffuser, which breaks it down into tiny bubbles, increasing the efficiency of water oxygenation.
Although modern filtration has significantly improved tank maintenance standards, aerators still play an important role in supporting biology and oxygen circulation.
They are particularly helpful in aquariums with a large number of fish, where they compensate for the natural oxygen deficit.
In tanks with sponge filters they are essential for their operation, and in aquaculture they facilitate the rearing of fry and stabilize conditions for shrimp, which are sensitive to drops in oxygen levels.
During fish treatment increased oxygen levels improve the effectiveness of the treatment and enhance regenerative processes.
In plant aquariums an aerator helps to balance oxygen levels at night, when plants absorb O₂ and release CO₂.
In combination with CO₂ kits it is advisable to use automatic pH control, which prevents fish suffocation.
Aerators of this type are also used in the incubation of live food, such as artemia, which requires intensive, continuous oxygenation.
Differences between models – tailored to every aquarium
The Aquael Oxyboost series includes four variants, differing in the number of air outlets and adjustability:
AP-100 PLUS
Compact model, ideal for smaller aquariums ranging from 10 to 100 liters. Equipped with one air outlet, without flow rate adjustment.
APR-150 PLUS
Version with one air outlet and smooth flow control using a knob. Designed for medium-sized tanks with a capacity of 100–150 l.
AP-200 PLUS
Model with two air outlets, without adjustment. Suitable for aquariums of 150–200 l, offering higher performance and the possibility of aerating two zones simultaneously.
APR-300 PLUS
The most powerful model in the series, with two independent knobs controlling both outlets independently of each other. Designed for large 200–300 l tanks or installations requiring precise flow control.
Functionality and compact dimensions
The small size and streamlined shape of the aerators Oxyboost allow them to be easily placed anywhere around the aquarium without disturbing the arrangement.
Thanks to its energy-efficient operation and high performance, the device remains a universal solution for various types of tanks — from community aquariums and plant tanks to professional breeding tanks and shrimp sets.
Purpose
The Aquael Oxyboost series of aeratorsAquael Oxyboost is designed for continuous aeration of freshwater tanks, ensuring stable operation and adequate oxygen levels in the water.
Models with a single outlet are ideal for small and medium-sized aquariums, while variants with two outlets and adjustable output are suitable for larger tanks or sets requiring greater air flow.
Oxyboost aerators a14>Oxyboost aerators are a good choice for both standard arrangements and tanks with a large population or high oxygen demand.

What you should know before buying
For the aerator to work properly, you need a hose (4/6 mm) and an aeration stone. We recommend purchasing a ready-to-use kit, available on our website.
Important information
The device should be placed above the water level in the aquarium. Otherwise, in the event of a power failure, the water level may drop and the device may be damaged. a16> of water and uncontrolled pumping of it from the tank.
In nature
Tip1:
Thanks to dual air vents in the 200 and 300 models you can use them to serve more than one aquarium at a time. In larger aquariums, they work well as additional aeration and oxygenation for the tank, while in smaller aquariums, each outlet can be directed to a separate tank, effectively powering two aquariums with one device.
