A modern, compact LED lamp with an elegant and minimalist design. Its lightweight construction and flat shape make it a perfect fit for any type of aquarium, especially small cube-shaped tanks.

Speed and convenience of installation

The lamp has been designed for ease of use. The compact holder allows for quick and stable mounting on the edge of the aquarium glass (up to 4 mm thick).

Technology and light distribution

Lampa akwariowa Leddy Smart D&N uses modern LED technology distributed across the entire surface of the lampshade. Thanks to this, in smaller aquariums up to 50 L, the light is distributed evenly, without a spot lighting effect, which ensures natural color reproduction and supports the healthy growth of aquatic plants.

In larger tanks above 50 L, it can be successfully used as spot lighting.

D&N lighting options

Depending on the model selected – Sunny or Plant – two types of lighting are available with the Day & Night (D&N) function, which differ in spectrum and purpose:

D&N function in the Sunny model – light adjusted to the rhythm of the aquarium

Innovative function D&N (Day & Night) allows you to use three lamp operating modes, corresponding to natural light cycles:

• Day – full power of white LEDs (7000 K), ideal for everyday aquarium lighting. Light similar to daylight supports plant growth and highlights the natural colors of fish.
• Daybreak – morning and evening mode, in which white and blue LEDs shine simultaneously, but their power is reduced by 50%. It creates a soft glow, conducive to waking up life in the aquarium and preparing its inhabitants for rest.
• Night – only blue LEDs light up, imitating the subtle light of the moon. This allows you to observe the nocturnal behavior of fish and other animals, such as crabs and gobies.

D&N function in the Plant model – light for healthy and lush plants

Innovative function D&N (Day & Night) allows you to use three lamp operating modes, corresponding to natural light cycles:

• Day – full power of white LEDs (9000 K) and red LEDs – ideal for everyday aquarium lighting. The light in this mode is strongly focused on plant growth.
• Daybreak – morning and evening mode, in which all LEDs shine: red, white, and blue, but their power is reduced by 50%. It creates a soft glow, conducive to waking up life in the aquarium and preparing its inhabitants for rest.
• Night – only blue LEDs light up, imitating the subtle light of the moon. This allows you to observe the nocturnal behavior of fish and other animals, such as crabs and gobies.

Differences between Leddy Smart D&N lamp versions

Each series Leddy Smart It was designed with in mind the various needs of aquarists and types of tanks. Below you will find a brief summary, which will help you choose the right version:

• Leddy Smart D&N Sunny – a basic, universal lamp ideal for micro aquariums dominated by nano fish (such as Bornean rasbora). It provides natural light and excellent visibility inside the tank.
• Leddy Smart D&N Plant– version dedicated to plant aquariums. It contains additional red LEDs that support photosynthesis and stimulate more intensive plant growth. In addition, they offer higher power and better color reproduction.
