Zoolek Formisol is intended for use in freshwater aquariums to combat protozoan diseases, bacterial and fungal diseases.

It is effective in treating conditions such as fish pox, thrush and fin rot, as well as in situations where the symptoms of the disease are non-specific and difficult to diagnose definitively.

The product can be used both during an active infection and as a preventative measure – particularly in quarantine tanks when introducing new fish. It is suitable for planted aquariums and, when used correctly, does not disrupt the biological balance of the tank.

10 ml of the product per 100 litres of water

Attention!

Due to its formalin content, this product is highly potent; therefore, you should not exceed the recommended doses and should always exercise caution when using it on more sensitive species.

Remove the activated carbon and peat from the filter for the duration of the treatment, as these can reduce the product’s effectiveness. It is also advisable to increase aeration – this improves the product’s dispersion in the water and helps the fish during treatment.

Formisol, thanks to its broad spectrum of action, is often used in situations where it is difficult to pinpoint the exact cause of health problems. In such cases, a swift response is crucial, but observation is equally important – it is this that allows us to assess whether the treatment is producing the desired results.

This product also works very well in a quarantine tank. Using it with new fish is a simple way to reduce the risk of introducing diseases into the main tank.

In aquariums with a higher pH (above 8), take particular care – the pH level may affect the product’s effectiveness and requires more careful dosing, so it is advisable to closely monitor the fish’s behaviour during treatment.
