Zoolek Capisol is intended for use in freshwater aquariums to combat nematodes, flukes, tapeworms and other multicellular parasites.

Symptoms of parasitic infections in fish may include a loss of appetite, weakness, behavioural changes, reddening of the skin, lethargy, , as well as ulcers or swelling. A characteristic sign may also be faeces in the form of white or red threads, fragments of tapeworms or other unusual structures.

The product can be used both during an active infection and as a preventative measure – to reduce the risk of the disease developing in the tank. Suitable for planted aquariums, provided basic safety precautions are observed. Does not permanently stain the water.

How do you carry out an effective treatment using Zoolek Capisol?

Dosage:

10 ml of the product per 50 litres of water

Remove the activated carbon and peat from the filter for the duration of the treatment, as these can reduce the product’s effectiveness. It is also advisable to increase aeration – this improves the product’s dispersion in the water and helps the fish during treatment.

Seven days after the first dose, the treatment should be repeatedin order to interrupt the parasites’ life cycle and effectively eliminate any forms that have developed in the meantime.

In aquariums with a higher pH (above 7.6), take particular care – the pH level may affect the product’s effectiveness and requires more careful dosing, so it is advisable to closely monitor the fish’s behaviour during treatment.

Remember that treatment addresses the symptoms of the problem, but not always its cause. Parasites often appear as a result of stress, fluctuations in water parameters, overcrowding or mistakes during acclimatisation. Therefore, in addition to the treatment itself, ensure that conditions in the aquarium remain stable – this is the most effective way to prevent relapses and keep your fish in good health for longer.
