Product description
A compact, hardy ground-cover plant with deep green leaves.
The leaves are sessile, slightly oval, arranged in a criss-cross pattern, with smooth edges; they are a rich green, and slightly lighter on the underside.
The root system is strong – the long, white roots reach deep into the soil.
Intended use:
This plant is ideal for nano aquariums, either as a complement to rock decorations or as a finishing touch to the layout.
It contrasts beautifully with the taller plants in the deeper parts of the tank. It can be used to create striking ‘pathways’ or dense clumps, which give the aquarium a natural look

Growing conditions
To ensure optimal plant growth, adequate lighting and fertilization of both the water column and the substrate are necessary.
❗ The nature of light has a key influence on the appearance of plants! ❗
- W intensywnym oświetleniu i bogatym w składniki odżywcze podłożu roślina rośnie poziomo, wypuszczając nowe pędy z każdego węzła, co prowadzi do stworzenia zwartego, niskiego dywanu.
- In low light and when nutrients are scarce, it grows upright, producing longer stems, with leaves appearing only on the upper part of the plant.
Lighting Requirements
General light requirements: Low/medium
Recommended lighting power according to the technology used:
0.7 W/L (T8/T5 fluorescent lamps)
0.3 W/L – 0.4 W/L (LED light)
30 lm/L (LEDs)
Water Requirements
Water pH: 6–7.5
Water hardness: GH 3–15
Temperature: 20–28 °C
Planting
Before planting, it is a good idea to trim back the longest stems. Divide the plant into 2–4 smaller sections and plant them close together in small groups.
What you should know before buying
Quantity sold: A single seedling, 1–3 cm in size.
The portion sold may or may not have a root system. The plant is so undemanding that all you need to do is provide it with the right conditions in the aquarium, after which it will establish its own root system and thrive.
