Another idea for a cascade filter in the Aquael portfolio. Modern, exceptionally quiet, designed for aquariums of various sizes — from small nano tanks to large aquariums with a capacity of up to 300 liters. It combines high performance, ease of use, and energy-efficient design to guarantee crystal clear water with minimal effort on the part of the user.

The cascading flow of water creates a gentle movement of the surface, supporting gas exchange and improving oxygenation, while giving the aquarium a natural, aesthetic wave effect. Thanks to this, filters FZN PRO work greatly not only in aquariums freshwater, but also in tanks marine and arrangements such as aquascaping.

Simple operation and replaceable cartridges for filtration

The basic idea behind the series FZN PRO maximum comfort. The manufacturer has used a system easily replaceable cartridges, which significantly reduces the time required for operation and maintenance. The filter has from 1 to 6 containers (depending on the model), into which you simply insert sachets with selected filtration media.

There are three types of dedicated cartridges available:

• Media Pack Standard – provides effective mechanical and biological filtration,
• Media Pack Carbomax – removes organic contaminants and improves the clarity of water,
• Media Pack Phosmax – reduces excess phosphates, limiting the growth of algae.

Quiet operation and refined design

The motor is located underwater, ensuring virtually silent operation (approx. 32 dB), automatic filling after connection, and automatic restart after a power failure.
All points of contact of the filter with glass were covered rubber elements, which suppress vibrations and eliminate unwanted sounds. On the other hand, in turn holes linear in the housing limit the effect of resonance and support additional gas exchange .

Attached knob tilt allows you to precisely set the angle of the device and the water flow level, adjusting the filter to your individual needs and the shape of the aquarium. The whole thing has been designed so that the filter is ready to use right out of the box.

Thoughtful details for your comfort

Each model in the series FZN PRO has been designed with the idea of everyday comfort of use in mind. Adjustable telescopic suction tube allows to adjust the length to a16> to the height of the aquarium, while in the model FZN PRO 400 a rigid tube with a fixed length has been used. a22> rigid tube with a fixed length, ideal for smaller tanks.
Slim housing (7.5–9.5 cm thick depending on the model) does not take up much space behind the aquarium, and the outlet flush with the surface of the water eliminates the noise of overflowing.

The set also includes a surface skimmer, which removes dust, grease deposits, and organic debris from the water surface while improving oxygenation. The skimmer operates without the need for electricity—it is mounted directly on the suction pipe and can be easily removed if necessary. The FZN PRO 400 model does not include a skimmer.

The filter construction is made of non-corrosive, moisture-resistant materials, making the device suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums. The absence of hoses completely eliminates the risk of leaks, and access to the impeller and reservoirs has been designed to make cleaning and replacing cartridges quick and intuitive.

Between models of cascade Aquael FZN PRO there are significant differences, which are worth learning about before choosing the right option.
The main difference is the number of cartridges, which a given model can accommodate.

Additionally, FZN PRO 400 does not have a skimmer or telescopic suction tube – this model uses a classic, rigid tube of fixed length.
In larger models – 700, 1000, and 1500 – you will find both a skimmer and a telescopic adjustable tube, which allows for better adjustment to the height of the aquarium.

Tip1:
The spacious filter container gives you complete freedom to configure. You don’t have to limit yourself exclusively to factory-made cartridges – it is precisely flexibility that makes FZN PRO yes unique. You can fill part of the basket cut sponge and ceramics, arranging them in layers according to your preferences, and fill the remaining space with filter cartridgesYou can also completely dispense with cartridges and insert more ceramics, for example. Thanks to the convenient plastic covers, you can remove the cartridges in one easy step, which greatly facilitates cleaning and maintenance.

Tip 2:
FZN PRO filters feature two types of suction tubes:

• in models 700, 1000, and 1500 – telescopic tube,
• in model 400 – tube rigid with constant length.

Standard holes in tubes are a4> safe for adult fish and shrimp, however they may be too a13> large for fry and young shrimp, which may cause them to be accidentally sucked in inside the filter.

To prevent this, it is worth using a filter sponge – for the FZN PRO 400 model, filter sponge available in our store, while for models 700, 1000, and 1500 we recommend the Turbo 500 sponge cartridge, also available from Natuscape.
