Additional ceramic insert BioCeraMAX Pro 600 (not included in the turbo mini model) supports the biological filtration process by providing a place for nitrifying bacteria to settle, which break down organic compounds and improve water quality. This combination ensures efficient filter performance and a healthy environment in the aquarium.

Full water regulation and oxygenation

Tip1:
The standard sponge included with the Turbo series filter set has relatively large pores and low density (number of PPI), which makes it less effective at trapping small particles. For better biological and mechanical filtration, it is worth replacing it with a sponge with a density of approx. 45 PPI, which will ensure more thorough water purification and a larger surface area for nitrifying bacteria.

Tip 2:
Filter head Turbo filter can be used not only in classic filtration. It also works well in non-standard projects — e.g. built-in filtration systems, paludariums, or aquatic terrariums. You can it also combine with filter sponge, replacing the classic air supply. This eliminates the need for a separate aerator device – the head alone is sufficient to replace it.
