Product description
Rotala Co2 Reducer Regulator 2 Pro Line is a device designed for aquarists who want to precisely control and supply the right amount of Co2 from a cylinder to their aquarium.
Full control thanks to dual pressure gauges
The device is equipped with two easy-to-read pressure gauges:
– one indicates the pressure in the cylinder (i.e. whether the gas is running out and the cylinder needs to be refilled), – the other shows the working pressure in the system.
The red line on the dials indicates the maximum values for both inlet and outlet pressure.
Stable and safe operation
Adjustment is carried out using a convenient black valve at the front of the regulator – simply tighten or loosen it to set the target pressure in the system.
The regulator reduces the gas pressure from the cylinder to the working level and maintains it at a constant level, regardless of changes in inlet pressure. Additionally, it is equipped with a safety valve that releases excess gas if the permissible values are exceeded.
Solid construction combined with an aesthetic finish.
Made of durable brass coated with nickel, it is resistant to damage and completely leak-proof, which guarantees safe and long-lasting operation, even with intensive use of CO₂ sets. The combination of these two materials guarantees solid and precise workmanship as well as a very high-quality appearance.
For every space
The compact size of the reducer means that it fits easily into both large and smaller aquarium cabinets or even narrow recesses. It is an excellent solution for those with limited space who do not want to compromise on high quality and full functionality.
Purpose
CO₂ regulators are used for the safe regulation of gas flowing from the cylinder to the aquarium.
They connect the cylinder to the entire system – without a regulator, the system cannot function properly.
Thanks to them, you can also:
- regulate the operating pressure throughout the system.
- monitor the amount of gas in the cylinder (a drop in pressure indicates that the CO₂ supply is running low).
Specification
Dimensions:
- Total height: 11.6 cm
- Height (from the connection point with the cylinder to the end of the regulator): 6.2 cm
- Width (from pressure gauge to pressure gauge): 11 cm
- Length (from inlet thread to control valve): 13.1 cm
- Pressure gauge diameter: 3.8 cm
Technical data:
- Inlet thread: W21.8 x 1/14 (standard, fits all CO₂ cylinders)
- Thread at outlet: G 1/8 R
- Maximum inlet pressure: 60 bar
- Output pressure: 2 bar
Before use – important!
Before installation, ensure that the regulator is securely tightened to the CO₂ cylinder and that the seal is not worn (i.e. not too dented).
Check whether the pressure gauges indicate the correct values, to ensure safe and correct operation of the system.

Tip1:
We recommend setting the pressure on the reducer (right pressure gauge) to 10–20 bar and adjusting it separately with a precision valve connected to the CO2 system – precision valve e.g. Camozzi brand
Tip 2:
To create a basic Co2 kit, we will need the following components:
– CO2 cylinders
– CO2 reducer, which allows us to regulate the amount of gas supplied from the cylinder
– Dedicated high-pressure PU hose, we recommend a minimum of 2–3 meters (better to take more than less)
– CO2 diffuser is an important component of a CO2 system, as it breaks down gas bubbles directly in the aquarium into much smaller ones, thus eliminating losses associated with the solubility of gas in water.
– CO2 indicator together with the indicator fluid. A must-have when administering CO2. It allows you to determine and continuously monitor the amount of CO2 in water. This allows us to determine whether we are supplying the appropriate amount of CO2 to the aquarium. Thanks to this, we can also avoid the so-called fish suffocation (too much CO2 in the water) or increase the amount of CO2 supplied if there is not enough of it. This is usually indicated by colors: yellow – too much, green – adequate level, blue – too little.
Optionally, we recommend the following for the above set:
– Bubble counter – thanks to this, we can precisely set and determine the amount that is to be released from the cylinder into the aquarium.
– Precision valve – much more accurate than a CO2 regulator, allowing for more precise adjustment of the amount of gas supplied from the cylinder to the aquarium.
All of the components we have listed are available for purchase in our store. If you would like to purchase a ready-made Co2 kit, please refer to our other auctions, where we have also prepared such kits.
